Lodging
Paws Up is an all-inclusive luxury resort that is situated on a sprawling 37,000-acre working cattle ranch in western Montana. There is a cost per-person, per-night. Please reach out to us to know the ins and outs of the costs, and any other questions or concerns.
We want this time to feel like a cozy, fun, relaxed, family & friends reunion! So the entire wedding party is required to stay at Paws Up. There is a 2-3-night minimum, and all guests will be assigned to a room in a cabin, each cabin having three rooms (6 people per cabin).
We encourage you to send your reservation deposit no later than September 15th to RSVP.

If you choose to fly, the closest airport is the Missoula aiport (MSO).

ALL transportation is taken care of and will be provided and coordinated with the resort!

In October the weather in Montana can be variable, so be prepared for rain, snow, and sunshine! The average temperature in October is a high of 60°F and low of 35°F.

Don't worry one bit. When you arrive to the resort you will be given a detailed itinerary through the Paws Up mobile app for the weekend.
And if you have any questions our wedding planner and assistant will be there to assist you!

This resort is truly unforgettable and we're hoping that this weekend will bring us all close together without any stress or worries.

IS THERE A DRESS CODE?
For the rehearsal dinner come dressed in relaxed formal. Confusing we know...but think jacket, no tie for men.
For the welcome party come dressed up for some western fun! We'll be at an indoor rodeo so boots are recommended.
On the wedding day please wear black-tie.
CAN I TAKE PICTURES DURING THE CEREMONY??
Please no phones out during the ceremony. Our photographer will get lots of photos of everyone, so don't worry :)

John and Hallie's story begins in the hustle and bustle of New York City – a chance encounter that set the stage for something special. Change seems to be a constant in their relationship, as John followed Hallie to build a home in Utah, and more recently Hallie followed John in making the move to the Pacific Palisades, California where John grew up.
They have two furry companions, Atlas and Barolo. Barolo got his name from a shared love for wine – a nod to their favorite varietal (John and Hallies... Barolo prefers White Russians). Atlas, the seasoned older sibling, takes on the role of the protective big brother, while Barolo, the energetic younger one, adds a strong comedic element.
We can't wait for you to see Atlas' impressive fetch skills and Roro's crazy spirit!
John has a five (soon to be six) year old son, Leo, who is one of the kindest and brightest kids you will ever meet. As a family of five, they enjoy simple pleasures like biking along the beach in Santa Monica, exploring museums, building legos, going to the beach, and playing in the treehouse Dada built for Leo. Quality time is at the core of their relationship, and each moment together is filled with joy and love.
While their home is split between Utah and California, The Golden State now hosts Leo, Hallie, and John's favorite memories.
